Yeah I agree. In the past much of the power limiting was done in the muffler though. I wonder if this new exhaust port shape might be computer designed to add turbulence, or otherwise limit exhaust gases' mass flow rates and/or gases velocity through the exhaust port? Have they upped the challenge for modders and porters by designing an exhaust port shape that is inherently limiting?

You can label me suspicious, but.... I'm looking forward to learning something as this new motor is "developed" by Brad and others like StephK87... :)

Looking into that exhaust port I see plenty of area to remove for oval inside to oval outside. Lotta meat side to side prior to impeeding the threaded holes , and the corners have less material than the center sections. Sculpting metal takes a bit of foresight, maybe?
