Sorry if posted before, but here's a few different yet interesting contraptions I stumbled upon.

But wait...there's more....

Yep. People will come up with all kinds of devices to end up with the same result for the same effort.

It seems to be the way 'over there' to buck logs into about 3' lengths, split those (straight grained) into long splits, strap those into bundles for storage, then buck the individual 3' long splits into firewood.

Anyone know why it's done that way?

Think it has something to do with the trees across the pond being straight grained softwoods and not all knotty and hard and such like we have?

In the first one, I'm already dreaming up 'bush mods'. Lose the yellow guard, extend the revolver a few feet and allow it to pivot onto the ground, make it with just three or even two chambers, winch 15' logs into each chamber, set the chamber back to an angled position, hit the auto button and go make a brew while it does the work.

Yeah, you guessed it.

For the second one, why stop at two blades? Supersize that sucker. Put 20 blades onto a live deck and each pecker pole done in one swipe!
