Is this a good price?

There is a guy that will mill logs for .30 a board foot. That is actual footage you get back not log scale. I need to have a some stuff cut for a trailer floor. Also if I have boards made out of green wood (oak). Can I use the wood right away to build a fence for cattle. The wood would be cut in either 2x6 or 2x8.

thats a good fair price if he is a good sawyer.

and yes you can use it immediately. if it is allowed to dry for a year you wil have to drill holes for the nails!!!!!

also, if its white oak it wil last much longer than red.
