I was just hoping for a couple opinions of if this cylinder was still usable. You can see the hole in the cylinder wall in the picture. From what I read if the blemishes are below the exhaust port it's ok? So location of the damage is important? Any advice is appreciated

Ok cool so any blemish below the top of the exhaust port is ok as long as it doesn't catch a ring?

I wouldn't say "any" and I wouldn't say "ok. " The piston still travels areas below exhaust so anything sharp/raised or plating loss is a problem.

But, it's better to have problems below vs. above.

How big is the void under the plating?
How thick is the plating over it?
It would be a bad spot if it grew.

Because there's a ring end right there .
That's under the transfer, well away from the ring end.

That's a used cylinder. If it were going to grow, I think it would have already done that, or there would at least be signs of it.

I think many of you are looking for trouble where there is none. That's a factory defect that hasn't hurt a thing. If you've cleaned up the scoring, throw a new piston in there and run it.
