It's a really good night

when I don't hear the furnace kick on! We have a fireplace insert that is doing its job.

A few years ago something else would have been a really good night. At age 61 - hearing, sight and memory and a few other things have gone.

It truely is a great feeling, having freed yourself from the shackles of the utility company, I know this feeling well!

Ive just started 'liberating' myself this year. My only problem now is going to be storing up enough good wood for next year and beyond

Im waiting for the next gas bill.........Im not 'off the grid' completely but I'll definately make a dent.
