Ordered a K10-WS carb kit for a Walbro WS-12 (Solo 655AV). All the gaskets and diaphragms look right except the metering diaphragm. The new diaphragm only has a metal nub in the center instead of a pin head that fits under the metering lever prongs. Will it work OK?

I ask because I put the old metering diaphragm back in and the saw is still running poorly. But now I'm thinking that since the action of the diaphragm is to push down on the metering lever, as long as that metal nub is sitting on top of the prongs, it may be OK.

Yeah, I bet you're right Gary. I'm going to try it tomorrow. Thanks!

Edit: It was just funny that the new metering lever did have the fork, but the diaphragm didn't have the "pin" head.
