Although it is not a chainsaw, does anyone know who made the John Deere MS 380 cutoff saw? John Deere dealer can't find out. I see it was made in the USA, anyone know by who and what model it was by the oem? Thanks for any help, a customer brought one in with a busted fuel tank and Deere can't get them anymore.

Not made by Stihl, sorry I'm at the shop and have no way to post a pic. It has the word Phelon on the flywheel. Only marking I can find.

Homelite MP-38.

I looked up the parts manual and googled some of the specific parts for the saw. They all belong to Homelite, so I would say the above is correct.
