Jonsered 2077 build

So I started working on another project. building a west coast 2077. Squish was .059" so it went to the lathe for a trim job. Brought squish down to .025"

Here is where the numbers ending up at. I have already roughed in the Exhaust to 100* thinking of taking transfers to 122*-123*? input is more than welcome. More pics to come!

Finally someone else who post pics of the actual work they do! I want one of those saws. A yellow one would be cool. I take squish down to .020" on almost all saws. .025" is still fairly loose but .005 is hardly anything. Crazy the stock squish was that much. Make sure you won't need to trim the extensions too. A lot of saws do need that done when cutting the base.
I don't have a clue about numbers. So the stock numbers were 100 123 74? Higher exhaust doesn't always mean high rpm or power. Some of the stronger saws I've built had exhaust around 105.

Yes those were the stock numbers. Too late on exhaust, its roughed in at 100. Kinda going off another guys numbers on a 475 PP

I thought the 104 127 77 sounded good. But I don’t really know. Blow down could be shortened up a little. Maybe more like 20-22. You going to advance the timing?

no it is a little craftsman model 101. Just a toy to do my little stuff, I bigger clausing I do most work on. it was FREE99 so couldn't pass it up.

Yeah seriously. Craftsman lathes are rebadged atlas lathes.
