Jonsered 2165: Big bore kit

Rebuilding a 2165 Turbo. Bad crank seals led to destroyed top end. Replacing with NWP kit from Baileys, 52 mm. Since I am going bigger, is it ok to go without the base gasket? Squish is about .025 without gasket. Will the larger cylinder and higher comp be too much for the lower end?

it will be fine.

Same bottom end on 2165 ,2172, and 375 so it wont be a problem.

Yup, no worries. Just make sure and use a good fuel proof sealant.

Got some Hondabond 4. Seems to work real well.
