jonsered 2171 - Husky 372xp interchangeable parts

I think some of the parts are interchangeable between these saws?

Anyone know if the clutch, clutch cover/chainbrake and the top air filter cover are?

I'm after a slightly larger saw (my biggest is 262xp) for occasional use but can't justify £££'s for 372xp. I have found a 2171 with these bits missing which I know I can get used from a 372 on eBay.

Those interchange, except for the air filter cover.

Sorry I know that was to brief, the Jonsered the guy is talking about in his post its on ebay with a past history of ripping crank seals up.

Can't see the 371's. The thing that worries me most about the 2171 is the lousy feedback he's got from another chainsaw sale.

Maybe I'll just get a 24" bar for my 262xp....
