Jonsered 2253 value?

hey guys, I stumbled upon a brand new 2253, 18" bar, in the box that some guy found in a shop he just bought. He knows I'm a saw guy, so he asked if I'd like to buy it. Is it a good saw? How does it copare to a worked up 346xp? What's the value of that saw, and what's a fair price to pay for it? Thanks in advance,

In the Husqvarna line, the next generation 346xp is the 550xp. The Jred 2253 is the GMC to the Husq 550xp Chevy, so to speak. The 2253 is autotuned but the 346 is tune-it-yourself.

Value? $500-600. Fair price? You don't wanna ask me. I'm a cheap bastard.

That is a you suck price. They are selling for over 400 for a clean used one.

Yes!! I love when I get the "you suck" prices. Doesn't happen too often to me, but I see others get them all the time and it makes me chuckle. I'll probably just send it right to Brad for some improvements. Thanks again guys.
