jonsered 2258/ 2260 crankcase

I'm looking for a good right crankcase or pair for a jonsered 2260 or 58. I broke the chain brake tab off mine..

Hmm, my local hydro company is a customer of mine, they run the husqvarna 550 and he has a pile of saws with that same issue.
Common problem?

nothing husky would admit to. this saw hasn't much use on it. I first broke off a couple handles then the tab. I don't know what I did to break it and the jonsered cases are 260$ what a joke.

I know, the hydro forestry supervisor won’t fix them either.
I think he has about 15-20 of them broken.

Looks like it doesn’t have enough metal in that area.

If you buy used, check to make certain it's a later "6 screw" case vs. the first gen 5 screw cases.
