Thanks for the offer but I will probably take it back to IL to get fixed. I may try putting the old diaphragm back in. It ran once before.

Here in Florida they get $60 hr , $30 minimum. The saw isn't worth that. Outboard mechanics are up to $85 hr.

I don't know if anyone on the chainsaw forum has seen our discussion, but maybe you should try there. I have learned quite a bit from these guys and they might still be able to help you. I like to think that I know something about these saws, but I am dwarfed in comparison to some that peruse the Chainsaw forum. They are very quick to share what they know and many of them are quite friendly. Why don't you try posting the problem there? It sure can't hurt.
