Just picked up a Jonsered 630 super11 project saw, all looks good, needs a good clean, compression is a phenominal 200psi without any work, clutch bearing is shot but that seems to be the only nasty bit so far. Bit of a bargain at £29 or around $45.

Now the question - where should the fuel tank breather be routed, currently it runs up the handle as in the photo and has a cable tie holding it in place but it doesn't look standard fitment to me.

If anyone else out there has one, can you post a photo of the correct path of the breather or is this correct?

That makes 9 petrol saws and one electric - oh, and one in bits - who said CAD - no such thing!!:chainsawguy:

That's a good one! The filter is supposed to be pressed into the tank where it comes out. That entire assembly should be inside the tank, with the very last portion pressed into the tank. The last portion should also have a longer hose.

Cheers - it is becoming clearer - thought it looked like a non standard bodge and have found the hole in the casing to alow the pipe through back in to the carb housing - hate it when things are not as they should be - perhaps this is why he said it wouldnt idle very well - time will tell but it looks like it will clean up really nice:)
