kindling piles

we just got two trailer loads FULL of these.
all oak, all kiln dry,
now if i just had a place to store it before it rains...well someday.
it takes some time cutting it up but it is worth it.
have an old stove in the garage without a ash pan, so i have to let fire go out at least once a week or more if it's cold to clean ash...so gettting fires started is a big deal here.
ya think this will get me through this winter

I would say ya have plenty of kindling....................Like for the next 20 years.LOL

Eastern White Cedar is king here. Here is a few years supply. I try to start a fire in Oct. and put it out in May. Some times things just happen. Like cooking paint in Sept.
