So harbor freight has a "super coupon" for their 7" x 10" lathe.... Is it worth it or should i be looking for something a little "better"?
$449 seems pretty cheap for a precision instrument......
Anyone here have or have had this unit?

Well, for small pieces and soft metal that should be ok, but for machining something like a cylinder I dont think i would go with that one. You want tight tolerances, no heat stress, constant finish. I'm really not sure that size of lathe could suit that!
