I was hoping that someone can help me out and point me in the right direction. I recently due to a change in jobs, have taken up residence with my Mother In law. Most cringe when they hear that, but it isn't so bad. Here's the real issue I am having. She has in her basment a Licking Stoveworks La-Belle # 214 wood burner. It was made in Newark Ohio I could only imagine many moons ago. It has a cast outer shell that is very ornate and then a fire box inside that looks like a standard pot belly. The fire box has several cracks that have expanded and it is no longer safe. She would like to know if it could be re-stored.
