A neighbor of mine has a linden tree with something happening to the leaves, from her description, I suspect a leaf miner, similar to the one that gets into fathergilla shrubs. Does anybody have any pictures of this pest on linden trees? (The damage is that something builds horn like structures on the leaves. She said she counted at least 15 of these "horns" protruding from one leaf.) Thanks, sawyerDave:confused:

Thanks for the quick reply, right after I posted here, I googled the same relative question, found the answer is Eriophyd (sp?) or gall mites, cosmetic damage only! Thanks for the positive reinforcement, SawyerDave.
