Chris came over today and we finished up the Partner P100 super today and thought it would be fun to make a couple videos of some 5-6 cube saws today. It was fun.

The saws were Chris's Mac Super 250 that I have to say runs alot better then the last time I ran it, seems he got the ign gremlins fixed for good. He also brought a Homelite Super 650. The 650 had been sitting for quite sometime and didnt want to play nice at first but a fuel line replacement and filter cleaning got it going really well.

We also run my new Partner P100 super, the Poulan 6000, Poulan Pro 655 and newly rebuilt Echo CS-900EVL. I wanted to run the Pro Mac 1000 but I had to rob the muffler bolts from it to finish the Partner. :msp_rolleyes: I'm sure it will run really well though.

Like I said this was for fun only, no races as there were too may variables involved such as different chains and such. In fact the Echo was still smoking like a freight train still having assy lube in it so its no where even close to broken in yet.

You will now have the videos if I done it right. :hmm3grin2orange: Oh, and if your from the PPE police, I dont want to hear it. LOL

Great videos! Love the sound of those old monsters. Not sure why but the 655 Poulan gets my attention the most. I would love to have one. Rep sent.

Dang Mark, you've lost weight.

My internet connection is so slow some videos just can't be watched. I'm trying though.

Thanks for posting these.

Probably because it's probably the strongest. The Super 650 might give it a run though if it was equipped the same.

I think that PP655 ran even better the 2nd time around, it just walked away from the rest.

I wasn't going to run the Super 650, but Mark coerced me into it. Like he said, it sorely needed some attention.

If you wear flip-flops next time, you won't have to take your shoes off to shake out the sawdust.:msp_rolleyes:

Thanks to Mark's wife for a nice little dinner.

Liked them all Mark. But I really like that 655... I told you that they pulled like crazy!

Should've seen my old man the first time he ran mine, I had the rakers taken down a good bit on a 36'' full chisle and he threw her onto a 30'' black thorny locust. His eyeballs about jumped out of his head when it drug him up to that log. Looked like John Force leaving the green light!

Them 655's are a BEAST and turn some serious rpm for a horizontal piston!

Liked that 650 also!

Neat..... With all the videos embedded in the thread you can have them all running at the same time and think that you are in the woods or at a GTG.

The 650 was fast, may have been the fastest. I did see that the bar was shorter than the others but only by a couple inches........it was fast!!

8 inches is more then a couple inches.

The 650 had a 24" on it, the CS-900, 655 and P100 all had 32's 8 tooths, and 3/8's skip on them. The 6000 had a 31" hard nose with a 404 with a probably too big 8 tooth on it.

The 6000 was started yesterday for the first time since I got it, and was probaly running too rich while the 900 was just run for the first time since a rebuild on it and it wasnt even close to haveing rings seated etc.

That said, the 650 is a mean runner for sure, and if it were setup the same as the others it might be the toughest, but then again it might not be either. I'm thinking of tuning the 6000 in some and coverting it to 3/8's with a 8 tooth so who knows maybe it would be the toughest?

This is hard Oak were cutting and I have found that full comp seems to be a little faster then skip so don't read too much into all this stuff.

Like I said this was for fun and nothing else.
