Magnum Decal

My new MS460 has a cheesy Magnum decal on the air cleaner cover. What happened to the days when these name plates were riveted on. I can't see that decal lasting very long. A couple of gas spills and it will start peeling.

i like the old metal ones too ,put the 044 cover on my ms440

Yeah bothers me too. Nearly a $900 saw they could at least put the aluminum tag on it instead of that .05 decal :angry2: It's all about the almighty dollar though!

Or do like I do and stick them on my Husqvarna saws.

Personally, never had one peel off a saw, and I'm the worst in the world at overfilling and spilling fuel on the saw, and my saws get used alot, most are run at least five days a weeks during the fall and winter. I do like the old metal tags better but I have seen them come off. The worst thing in the world is those little XP decals used on Huskies, they pop off the first week.
