Hello,

Have decided to sell my Makita 6401 PHO. I bought off here on June 23rd 2019 from Dustin(dgb84). Saw started off life as a Home Depot rental. It is not a beauty queen but is mechanically sound. It just sits on the shelf, I always grab the 390XP, I just never really cared for the limited coil as I had a hard time distinguishing 4 stroking vs the limiter. I swapped it over to the 79cc top end February 28th 2020. It has I would guess 10-15 tanks ran through it. It's the OEM Mahle top end, bought from Performance Outdoor Equipment. Top end is stock and does have the base gasket. Has a ton of compression and cylinder and piston are fine. Saw has a muffler mod, extra outlet added with a 288 deflector and the internals gutted. Saw was ran on ethanol free fuel at 32:1 with Maxima Formula K2, it might have seen a few tanks on Maxima Castor 927 but if it was it wasn't much as I swapped over to K2 back sometime around the time I swapped the top end.

It has a chip missing from the clutch cover but that was disclosed to me when I bought it and it has never been an issue. The bolt that holds down the left rear corner of the top cover is missing and hole is stripped. Cover never pops loose so I never bothered fixing it. The operator presence lever your right palm presses down doesn't work so the trigger can be squeezed regardless, never posed an issue with me. Since I bought the saw other than the top end I have replaced the following:

-Clutch OEM Part number 038-180-014
-Oiler Supply Line OEM Part number 038-245-020

Was thinking $515 plus shipping or make an offer. Paypal F&F would be ideal but I understand the issues behind that so will do goods and services if that makes someone feel better.
