I'm looking for some more power out of my 024 AVS, anyone have any ideas?

Sell it and buy something else? You can (with a bit of work) put an 026 piston and cylinder on, but that seems like a lot of work for not a lot of return...

EDIT: If I recall, this started life as an 024 with an 026 p/c bolted on...with a bit of porting along the way...

Seriously, though, the 024 isn't going to be a screamer, no matter what you do. It is a reliable, if unexciting, saw in the 45cc class. For limbing and smaller work, it is a solid performer. You're probably just getting spoiled by your other saw...

I probably am spoiled with my 7900. Just got it about a month ago and absolutely in love with it but it does get a little heavy for limbing and smaller stuff thats why i keep the 24 around. I know its small and i'm not looking for a miracle just want it to pull a little harder

noticable gains can be had by modding the muffler for a less restrictive exhaust. It is much less work than chainging the piston and cylinder, which can still be done at a later time.
