I finally got around to doing some long needed mods to my TW6.

1st, I finally got around to installing a prince auto valve. I was hoping it would be worth the money. Turns out I should've done the swap on day one. This thing is such a time saver it's not even funny. It's actually crazy that anyone would sell a splitter without one. I also installed a gauge at the same time. The thing is was suprised to find was that my relief was set at 2000psi, which basically made my 28ton splitter a 20 ton. So now I have it turned up to 2850 psi like it's supposed to be.

2nd, I did the Sandhill Crane mod to my wedge. I always thought it was a good idea. I just didn't realize how helpful it really is. The top half of the split sits on top without any help from me.

3rd, I added some wings to my outfeed table. They keep 99% of the splits on the table until they get pushed to the conveyor.

Overall, I'm very happy with all the mods. I wish I would've done them all on day 1.

Forgot to mention. I put the splitter up on an old set of rims a few years ago. It really helps the back to have the beam up a little higher.
