According to Torco's info I should have been at 102.....

I dropped the compression back down. After 200 - 210 they just make too much heat. I had to know how much was too much though.

Does Torco use ethanol to increase the octane rating as do some of the other octane boosters?

i tested fuel some years ago, lower octane=more power

as long as your testing fuel, try oil ratio 50/1 40/1 32/1 20/1 16/1

you will find that the more oil =more power

40:1 to 32:1 approx. <2%.

some may be able to feel this, i don't know. until i saw the published results on another site recently, had to change my view on this on this one. seems that torque increases ..........until the exhaust smokes....at that point it goes the other way.

long time ago, someone posted that he was running 16:1 in a modern saw. he got scolded pretty hard. he never mentioned more torque, only said his saw ran well. better ways obviously to make power, but interesting non the less.
