Is the cylinder on a Stihl MS 251 coated ? It does not appear to have a steel liner . The neighbor asked me to repair his MS 251 , the piston is scored . The cylinder has some very minor deposits from the piston .
What would be the best way to clean them up . I did not want to use muratic acid if the cylinder was Nikisil coated . The neighbor is 89 yrs old and still cuts wood for his OWB .
