Want to Buy Ms 311 jug

Hi i was wondering if anyone had a jug for a ms 311 or a jug that would work

Have a like new top end for a 391 same crankcase bigger bore. It looks to have been installed and never started! Complete with piston rings . Let me know if interested leave your cell number I can get you some pics

I see the intake is different yours being a 3 screw mine being a 4 which as long as the intake collar is the same it’s a ok beings I can sell you the 391 intake boot as well as any other parts necessary to make the swap possible

The 311 and 391 shared a lot of the same parts including crankcase so this would be a perfect oem big bore project if your up for it

Ok i has the saw compleatly apart so this is the best i could get

If i could get the intake boot to work with my carb and the mounting plate it would be perfect

Ok I looked up everything on the Stihl dealer site . Everything is the exact same except the intake boot and the carb , not saying you can’t just readjust your carb to run the larger displacement. Intake clamp with studs for the 391 is exact same as the 311 part number 1140 120 0901 . Same as the air box 1140 087 3001 which fits both. Which air filter set up do you have the older style clip on square set up or the round 1/4 turn twist had filter system

Simply changing to the 391 motor looks like it takes nothing more then the 391 boot to make it happen

Your ms311 runs a wte16b where’s the 391 runs a wte9a which I do also have if you want to make it 100 percent legit

Ok i have the twist on air fliter but will the back plate be differnt bc its like a traingle and yours it like a rectangle?

The way the parts Ipl shows thy both use the same part but I’ll send the backingplate along with cylinder and boot just to be sure
