MS361 for $790.00

I too have been wondering about these Ebay sales that bring
more than retail. WTF
Well, check this one out.
The buyer is a guy from Belgium.
With the exchange rate for Euros what it is and the price of these saws
overseas, this is probably a good deal for him.
I have'nt noticed B4 but could most of these saws be going across the pond?

Have you also noticed all the NEW in box 361's and 460's being sold on ebay of late.

Just looked new 440's too.

Money is money to some and if they are willing to pay big with exchange in their favor and pay shipping, who cares.

Anyway my wifes cousin works for a Stihl dealer and was amazed
when I pointed this out about a yr ago.
The amount of saws sold and the prices they get.
Its incredible.
That one I posted about earlier today was from a pawn shop
here in Baltimore ( Iam about 30miles north of Balto ).
I imagine it was a LITTLE WARM if you know what I mean.
After all what self respecting man would buy a brand new 361 and then pawn it B4 he got a chance to cut somethin with it.
I would bet that is the case with many of these saws.
I"ve read B4 that Ebay is the worlds biggest fencing operation.

And I'll say it again just for you Husky Guys LOL

Hmm,very good point. I never thought of it this way before. Maybe there is yet another advantage to owning Husky's. (or Dols, Jons, Shins, Macs, Pouls, Echos, etc) I don't need to worry every waking minute, since them thieves see those Stihls as the crown jewels. Why would they want my stinkin' Huskys.

Cant blame them then with a good exchange rate in their favor. Makes me think I should throw that 361 of mine on the international market and test the seas rates.

At second glance that sure does look like a 260
Isnt the decomp valve on the 361 towards the bar side
instead of in the middle
Hope the buyer gets whats he thinks he bought and that was just a
stock photo.
Would'nt that be a bummer $790.00 for a MS260.
