My New Stihl

This is the last of the litter and I'm keeping him. Born 11/21 and his name is Stihl. The litter was 5 males. The dad is a yellow and the mom is a black. That is what I wanted to name his mom when we got her but the wife and kids objected. This time I get my way.

We have three black labs. Buddy, Baily, and last but not least Dinky. The first two are brother and sister and are going on 11 years old. Dinky was homeless pup that I couldn't resist. He's two now and enjoys making life hell on the two older dogs. All he wants to is play. The older dogs just want to stretch out in the sun and enjoy life. These dogs sure make life much better. No matter how bad your day is and if you come home in a pissed off mood they will make you smile.

I actually can't believe I hav'nt heard that one before, awesome...Petra means "rock" in greek but is also the feminen version of peter(not why I named my dog that). My wife is greek and she had Petra before we were married.

Had 3 daughters,no sons and up until this summer,1 female dog ,now have 2 female dogs and when people ask me that with all the females in the house why would I want girl dogs,I just tell them that no matter what I've done wrong that day,there is always 2 females glad to see me

Good looking dog! Labs are great, we have one, Missy, and are thinking about getting second. She is sleeping at my feet after a good long quail hunt this morning. Last hunt of the year, snif!

Petra was a place hewn out of solid stone. Notch in the rocks is the literal translation from Greek.

Bookie, That's a fabulous looking Lab! Really nice! Would have been tough too name him Huskie! People would have thought you nuts. LOL, Dolly (Dolmar) well....it's a he so no dice. Beats Homelite, Shinny or MacCullough and you definately don't want Wild Thing! Yo Efco! Nope......I guess Stihl's a good choice!

Beautifull puppy you have their. I used to have 2 Golden Retievers but now we have downsized to Yorkie's. LOL! Because of the kids allergys. I'm sure your lab will be your best buddy through good times and bad. Make sure you keep extra scooby snacks around.
