Need help picking a new wood stove

Educate a dummy...what makes a stove mobile home approved

Usually that means a newer wood stove with tight "distance to combustible" ratings
It IS very important to season all firewood one to three years and stack and shelter it to keep it dry before burning it.
She needs to learn those important factors to get good, safe heat from wood.
I always try to educate people on this by telling them that they will get more BTUs for less money if they follow those three simple things.
Education is key.
 
hunt is over...she found a 2" hole in the firebox this morning so before work she just ran up to tractor supply and picked up a stove :mad:

looks like an old Ashley stove...those were good stoves, not sure about this brand though??

I don't know, looks to be just a big smoke dragon. The one guy said in the second year the grates are warping. Who knows, ya get what ya pay for. Cheap enough as big heaters go.

If I just wanted to run a big dragon for max heat, at rock bottom price, double barrel stove kit FTW!
 
seems to me i looked at those one time when i was in TSC and the firebox is sheet metal...12-14 gauge.
