Want to Buy Needing an MTD #753-06409 or Similar Throttle Cable

A friend gave me a nearly new Remington chainsaw with a broken throttle cable, but it just so happens that the throttle cable has been discontinued by MTD...the part number is 753--06409. I'm would prefer an exact replacement, but a similar cable will suffice...If I am remembering correctly the throttle cable in question measures about 10 1/2" to 11" long, it has a L shaped connector on one one end, and a small short cylinder on the other, and the outer plastic covers about half the length of the cable...If anyone can help me out with something along these lines, or the original part, please let me know!
