A hell of an impact! I noticed shipping lately is going to hell, must be the stupid people they hire because there are not many smart ones left. Is that hole egg shaped too, or just the damage you speak of? I think if you file it, it should be OK. Did you pay top dollar?

It was just the one hole that was deformed from the impact (along with the bent fin). I did file it out, and it works fine now. The price was really reasonable ($99.99), and they did finally send a replacement, so all is good.
