We need a new chipper. Carlton 2012 or Bandit 250xp? Any help with this matter would be appreciated.

Bandit 250xp. Never saw a reason to switch from what has been good to us. Carlton makes good stump machines, not sure about their chippers.

chipper

carlton makes a great chipper almost a exact copy of bandit but at a much better price ...:)

Chipper

I have used many chippers in my career and I feel that Woodsman puts out the best machine. Checkout the 730 or the 750 models. I have the 750 which is the new name for the 15X. The thing is the balls.... No problems with 950 hrs on it.

Here is their website. http://www.woodsmanchippers.com/

Here is a youtube video of my chipper in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hj_N1zcci4c

Woodsman

I agree Arborterra... I feel that Woodsman currently has the best product on the market. Nice simple design that has worked very well for us so far. Morbark, Bandit, Vermeer are all nice machines and do what they are designed to do but Woodsman just does it better. Just my opinion..........:givebeer:

Yes, you men are right. I shouldn't rip on Bandit. They are a very good machine and no macine is perfect. I just don't understand why they don't update some of the things that don't work as well as they could. Maybe they have and I havn't seen it. I don't think there is anything big that I don't like about a Bandit, just a few little things that get very annoying after using the chippers day after day for years. I guess that's why I like to make my own modifications. Life would be boring for me if there were nothing to fix or change.
