Thats what I do with a new saw! I just avoid long cuts for a few tanks. Go or Blow! Never had a problem and I owned quite a few new saws.Why not run it wide open?

I'm sure they would work fine. I was just being stupid. I would assume that any case that would fit a 20" bar would be fine. Do you have a dealer that you check them out at? How are you liking the saw so far?Why not?
I have a husky case for a saw with a 20" bar and my 6100 will not fit in it because the 6100 is to tall because of the brake handle. Try before you buy.Why not?
I have an extra muffler. The replacement muffler isn't as nice as the original it comes with so that will be the one I modify. The replacement looks like mild steel instead of stainless steel
I want to add that the factory did a great job in tuning it so please leave the adjusting for another one or two years.

That may be true. I didn't look very close just pulled it out of the box and put it on the shelfIt should be stainless but it hasn't been through a heat cycle yet.
