Thanks for the link! I may just give this a try. Haven't done this much with a 2 cycle before, but have ripped into and rebuilt several small and big block chevy's before. Just have to pay attention.. and maybe wear my glasses... I mean, how hard could it be? it's not like mixing the right amount of oil to fuel... :buttkick:
 
I've used the same oil for 40 years, Golden Spectro. Anything that gets mixed goes into 1-gal coleman fuel cans for storage, 77cc/1-gal 50:1. If I mix up a bunch it's still all the same method. I use a chemists graduated cylinder to measure unless I'm doing 5-gal at a time then it's the whole bottle. The 100LL AV gas is blue so only gets greener on mixing. If I have any doubts about a can it goes into a 1940 9N ford and that burns almost anything except water.
