New MAC Carb ???

Any idea what this was used on?
Mac part number is 87293.

Was digging through some old boxes and found this carb,it's brand new.
And Large !!

It is actually a McCulloch branded carb? Probably from the 1-xx series I would dare to guess.

That carburetor could be from a Super 250, 450, 550, or maybe even the 740/795/797 series saws.

I think the 87293 part number is an update from the original part numbers.

I'm not at home with my McCulloch Carburetor book but pretty sure the above information is correct.

Sorry, I jumped the gun...

AOD is correct, that is one of the older carburetors from a 1-40 or 1-50 or similar saw. It has the choke rather than the primer like the later McCulloch "flat back" carburetors.
