Yeah I plan to get another ten cords next week so I'll probably be taking pictures throughout the week! I've been trying to really get the wood out before it starts thawing for spring.

I always thought a tele would be a great machine in the woods - near skidloader versatility and maneuverablilty, with power and traction more tractor like. Guessing (other than cost) that the disadvantages are that they're not "armored" for rough terrain use very well? The one we used at work last winter for an outdoor forklift/snow removal had a lot of stuff hanging where I wouldn't want it out in the woods. What do you have and what are the good/bads of it? I'm up close to Andydodgegeek btw, just NE of the Twin Cities a bit, and on the RIGHT side of the St Croix!!! :p

Honestly I can't think of anything to complain about with manitou. They have a nice skidplate underneath, can pull a 70 foot tree through 3 feet of snow, and can stack piles higher then a skidsteer. They are very strong for their size and with good tires can go through 2-3 feet of snow with ease. The only thing we watch for is what we're running over so we don't pop a tire and the price tag is a little high but is well worth it.

Nice pile of logs you got there. With all this snow we got I'm wondering if I will ever make it out to start gathering. I cant even see my piles of rounds that are waiting to be split-they are buried. Welcome to the rediscovered site, it keeps me entertained while I wait for a thaw.
