thanks i have an 18" bar but that gives me an idea. Gotta stop back to stihl tomorrow, they didnt have any plastic wedges in stock last night.

Check at menards they have oregon felling wedges for under $4. I just picked up two of them yesterday, their oregon stuff is priced pretty good.

I like the 250 just fine and run full chisel chain. I needed a saw in a hurry and just bought one on the run. I prefer commercial grade saws and while I like the 250 I have a 261 on the wish list.

yes, I find is to be the best for my cutting. The 250 does well with it. I run 440 and 460 saws regularly but wanted a lighter limbing saw. I run the same type chain on all of them.
