new to logging

ive cut firewood for years no biggy just drop and cut load up go home. well the new place ill be cutting on the owner want logs for his portable mill and i get the crooked and tops i knoe theres a certain way i need to go at droping the trees any advice is apreciated. im located in oklahoma dealing with a mix of hardwoods if that affects anything
