I just ran my second t-stat with out the need of a extra relay. Everything I have read and the dealer said I would need one. Not sure why
All I did was thake the "fan on" wire at the t-stat and hook it up to the "heat on" port on the t-stat. Then took the "heat on" wire and hooked it up to the "heat on" port of the second t-stat( which is set lower in temp).
Works great and only cost 49 cents for the extra wire.
