Don't think it was me but I have been wrong before.
I bought one from them and the second is on backorder. They are $60 at dealer and $90 on e-bay!!
Seems like a lot of parts are BO!
Even old school fuel and oil caps are BO'd. So is the flippy caps.
Have a roll of 3/8 .050 square chain on order since June...

Those e-bay prices are outrageous! I just paid $60.00 for a 10mm piston and and these guys are wanting $90.00. I paid $8.62 for a set of rings and e-bay price $30.00 bucks!
....Yep, and I would expect that they, along with everything else is only going to get more expensive!

Yes you are correct some things they are behind on production whereas a lot is stuck on the slow-boat from China. Now do NOT take this for gospel as I am not sure on the accuracy but I heard something last week that bewildered me. I called a local, longtime, Stihl dealer last week inquiring about a tough to find bar for a member here. He did not have one and said the distributor did not even have a provision to order one. He went on to add that even if he could order it there is little chance it would show up. According to him the issue with the shortage of some Stihl products is due to they are made in the Ukraine and as we know that is a bit busy right now.
