Okay, dumb question how do I clear my PM box

I've been deleting old PM's in an effort to keep my PM box under 100% full. I only have nine,(that I'm saving for information) in it but it shows a total of 70 and that my box is full. Is there something else I need to do? Thanks

Have you deleted your sent PM's? The drop box that says "inbox" drop that down and delete the "sent items", that should free up that lost space.
