My latest CL purchase was a steal. I found a blue Homelite Super XL that according to the seller would not run. asking price: $25. 30 min drive from my house, I figure def worth the trip. I figured the saw was an original blue XL. I find out its a newer "Old Blue model" with a 20" bar. I check the comp: 125psi, good, check the spark, good, check p/c, clean. I hand the guy 25 and head home. The saw was dirty, cleaned it up and wow this saw was hardly used. I also find why it didn't start...broken fuel line. needless to say Im happy and think I got a great deal. can i use tygon line on this saw? also when were these made?

Thats a peach. I`m picking up a couple of super xl`s from a mates farm that look like they`ve spent 20+ years at the bottom of his slurry pit. Good find.:)
