I just recently purchased an old Partner "farmer" saw.This old Yellow & Black "box type saw",is in mint shape,and was only used very little and then,,just put away.The paint on the handle bar,and chainbrake isnt worn,,,only a small bit.Anyway,,,i have to get the carb kit installed,and i think i can have er' goin.It will start right off,,but stops after a few secs.
Anyway...This saw needs a good filing also.Can i still buy files for this?...Any infor you can give me on this saw would be great....oh......it has a chain brake,,so i was thinking it was from at least the 1979 era?
