Experienced with aerial lifts. Versatile and skilled in the safe use of chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders, skid steers & more! Ability to work at heights and adapt to various weather conditions. Has a good understanding of complex rigging and felling techniques. Experienced in tree care techniques, including trimming, pruning, and removal. CDL arborist, & climbing experience are pluses - your extra edge! Passion for safety and attention to detail. Team player mentality - Ready to be a part of a unique and vibrant work culture. Positive attitude and ownership mentality. Ability to drive a manual transmission is a plus.Job Duties:
- Operate as part of a crew supporting the Crew Foreman.
- Collaborate with the ground crew. May include laying down mats for mini-skid path, dragging brush, logs, and raking debris.
- Demonstrate skill in standard arboriculture tools and equipment.
- Identify tree types, diseases, and effectively plan and coordinate tasks.
- Establish effective working relationships with the team and the public.
- Operate various automotive and forestry equipment.
- Load, unload trucks with brush, debris, and equipment & materials.
- Use appropriate gear, observe safety protocols, and participate in ongoing safety training.
- Perform tree climbing and tree care tasks in line with industry standards.
- Communicate professionally and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist the climber in the safe removal and lowering of trees.

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as an aerial lift operator and experienced with tree trimming/rigging.
Ability to drive a truck and trailer.
Ability to wear all PPE and perform all duties related to the job.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Knowledge of essential job functions and responsibilities.
Ability to meet all physical requirements of the position. Move objects weighing up to one hundred (100) pounds.
18 years of age or older.
High school diploma/GED.
Maintain a Drug-Free workplace.
Experience:
Rigging: 1 years (Preferred).- Tree trimming: 1 years (Preferred).
- Aerial lifts: 1 year (Required).
- Trailer hauling: 1 year (Preferred) - Comfortable driving and hooking up a truck and trailer.
Schedule:
1st shift - Variable, but typically 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Occasional overtime during on-season & storms. Ability to work longer hours and overtime during emergencies.
Pay Types:
Bonuses & Tips.
Ability to go salaried after 1 year.
Pay based upon qualification & experience.
Bi-weekly pay.
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Required).- CDL a plus.
