Here is a copy of a notice I sent out to about 25 people who have taken one of my classes online in the past year. They are designed to be full college credit and are all part of our degree programs here at MSU-Bottineau. My original aim was to provide them for people who got into the field because it is fun and interesting and now can not afford to take time off for school full time. You can do your homework for these classes at 2 am if that is when you are free and awake. Winter also seems to be a popular time as most businesses slow down a little in that season. The largest group of students so far have been NRCS employees who are taking them for the continuing ed credits needed for advancement. They have been approved by the state director in ND. I will be happy to send a sample to anyone that has the power to approve classes for an organization. You can go to the following link to get more info about some of the classes.

Now that we are all back inside for the winter, I thought I would drop you a line about other opportunities for online credits. Many of you have taken the Soils class I offer, but I also offer an Arboriculture (care of trees and shrubs), Turf Managment, Intro to Prairie and Community Forestry and a Dendrology (tree id) class online. These are all 3 credit classes based on the same format as the ones you have taken so far. If you are interested, drop me a line or sign up online at the MSU-B website.

Hope the class you previously took was beneficial in your work.
