i snapped these pictures last year, and thought they were pretty cool, so i thought i would share them. hope you enjoy.

thanks redbull, i got some semi-related other oregon pictures . . .

1st one is proxy falls in oregon cascades
2nd is another from that fire in the first group
3rd is a big fir i found at fall creek oregon
4th is a good example of a clearcut near my house (hard to imagine it used to be a stand of old growth, and all that light green is 3rd growth reprod)
5th is low water on fall creek

First group, 2 and 3, get my vote...beautiful lake...and the ghost trees in the smoke are striking.

I don't know Sizzle. Guess I hadn't thought to put a number on it. 100-120+ I reckon. They were a blast, and fell easily. They were tall and relatively light. Wind was the biggest concern with these guys. They where swaying like crazy.

Fire damage Ekka. Cool picts Sizzle-Chest. The ones of the old burn with the fog are eerie. You have a good eye for picts.

thanks monkey man. did anyone from oregon catch that show on OPB about Oregon forest management? Very interesting, lots of good logging clips.

Those are all awesome pic. But I think proxy fall in Oregon gets my # 1 vote.
