Partner R16 - Clutch nut RH thread or LH?

I need to replace the sprocket on my old Partner R16. I can't remember if the nut is RH or LH thread. Can you tell me? Thanks.

Clockwise to remove would make it LH.

Got it. I remove by turning it clockwise. Do it need a "special" tool to use as a piston stop of is simply pushing a bit of rope through the spark plug hole adequate?

There is for the larger cc saws.
