Stopped by my local saw shop today and the tech told me I needed a saw he had found under one of the counters, a one owner 030 traded in years ago.
I got it for a song, it needs cleaned up. It has a little over spray on the gas cap from where it has been hit while they have been painting other saws.
It has great compression and runs well. It has one on the etched Stihl bars.
I probably clean it up, restore it and send it to fleabay minus the bar.
It's a neat little saw. I understand a 1971 or 72. Any info on these saws, were they decent.
