Pin Oak Galls (NOT GOUT or HORNED...)

Ok I have a pin oak with galls (imagine that...) the issue is they are not round galls, and they have no horns/spikes. They are about a 1/2" wide and around 10"long going along the stem, like a big horn. Anyone that can help let me know.
