If the cylinder will bolt on the base you will also need a P45 ignition and flywheel. I have been thinking about trying that as well.
Thanks for the response.I have been doing some research and the pioneer/partner saws all use the same flywheel and ignition.I'm not sure about the base mounting, the case part numbers changed.It would be nice to have a few more cc's and a more reliable ignition.

Thank you for the compliment, I love it so far.I really wasn't looking for it kind of stumbled across it.I was looking for a p-51 at the time,but i'm very glad i got this saw.


You have a great looking saw their , Treasure it and it will last forever. Never seen the mod 2 holes in the muffler cover before though.
